Try MORE rear camber >>> IF the Cav setup your using has "O" camber.

My SC5M was like that! Race HIGH traction tracks. Running >>> -1.0 to -1.5

Assume he means the tight ball cups and the missing parts? maybe the slop in the front spindles?

Just finished the build. Everything was there and everything fit fine. I have it setup per the manual.

I did change a few things. I added the rear sway bar, used the ceramic balls for the diff, and used the shock pistons with the valves.

I will get to test it out on Thursday when I go to SDRC.

BUzz.

Did a little testing in the house. Both rear shocks needed the caps tightened as they were leaking. I thought I had tightened all 4 the same way.

Is there a front sway bar kit for this truck? I do not see any place molded in like the rear is?

Buzz.

front and rear sway bars. I run on high bite clay and IMO, they are a must. they make the truck drive much fatter. I used 1.6mm front and rear sway bars.

Having a issue with my truck always flying nose in the air over bigger jumps and landing on the back bumper. I just can figure it out. have the gray springs up front and 35wt oil and white springs in the rear with 30wt. Only run on high grip clay. Body has all the cut outs done too.
Do I add weight up front or is something wrong other than the nut with the controller?? Thanks

There's no purpose made swaybar.
I adapted a b5m rear bar for my front and the b5m bar fits the rear.

There's some pics of this a couple pages back

I finally got my SC5m on saturday morning which means it had a delivery time of 188 days since I ordered.

But it was worth the waiting - started building right away and it was as easy as my B5r although I had the feeling it needed more screws. Everything went together really well.

I had no missing parts - even the ball cups were tight, but super smooth. A big, big difference to the cups ob my B5r.

A pic of mine as attachment (quick smartphone pic), electronics are:

- SkyRC Ares pro Competition 13.5t
- LRP SXX TC-Spec
- Futaba S9352hv

Tires are HotBodies MegaBite (pink) with inserts from the HPI Blitz - ran that combo on my SC10 and it worked very well on our outdoor clay track.

I'm very excited to run it the first time, sadly the weather conditions were bad this weekend.
Set it up per manual to compare as I ran my SC10 per manual, too

Sounds like you have too much throttle while in the air, try easing off the throttle as you come off the top of the jump.

There will always be little problems to over come with each new kit. I'm referring to the various issues with some kits that make you spend more money on the kit after you've bought it. Ex: V2 Diffs, Mugen outdrives. I'm not speaking of aftermarket upgrades, just parts you need to race.

I think the AE kits are out of the box ready to race, I have the sc5m, t5m, and B5MFL and all three were ran for a while with nothing but kit I don't think any of the upgrades I have done have amounted to much in all reality except the pucks on the b5m.

Oh and the sway bars on the sc5m were a major difference also
