I was able to make it Sunday but there was not enough people to race so I did a little bit of testing.. Rapture felt good but I'm doing the final things to complete the build of the 2.0 today and will be back to test or race soon...

Alright gang, after some serious trying to get caught up on work and honey-do's, time to get some racing in. Right now I'm going to run my truck a bit towards heavy with chassis side guards and dual shorty packs in parallel. I'm still playing with diff settings and I think I got the shocks figured out.

Question I have is, what is the effect of the O-rings in the diff? I think I've only ever built one other gear diff with o-rings but never really grasped there purpose as a tuning aid.

Don't run them, It will make your oil feel thicker ...

OK, problem fixed.. so my sct was kinda slow last night so I did testing today and was able to put a different motor in my sct and gained 5mph on my gps with same pinion and esc settings...... Can't wait to run it again as I was for sure slow on the long straight

Yeah don't run the o-rings. They are inconsistent. Running on the heavy side...put the stock ebuggy rear sway bar on it. (2.8mm)

A fun day of racing at M and M RC Speedway in Pueblo, CO. Had a rough go of things in the qualifiers as I was testing a few setup changes and was not fairing well with them. My teammate Will on the other hand, found a setup that was pure money and was a continuing presence in the top 3. During the main, Will slugged it out in the top 3 keeping pressure on the other drivers while I maintained pace in 4th with us finishing 3rd and 4th respectively. Will's truck was just plain dialed and hooked up the whole time. Guess who's setup I'm using for our next race. Lol! Good job bud!

Default Rick's motor

Rick, what motor Kv did you change too? I have one of the mugen/rapture cross breed's. I have a HW4700Kv 4 pole with an rx8. I'm always interested in how people power them, but usually have more then I can handle. Too much is almost enough! Chris

He's currently running a tenshock 4600 with a 14t pinion and viper esc.

I found this video of last Friday's race.. I'm starting on the pole,
1st lap I'm the white front, yellow middle and blue rear on black wheels in 6th
1:30 into the race I take over 2nd
2.00 into the race I take over 1st and never look back
My Rapture handles really well and lands great.
