yeah short of getting an awesome deal on one, until we see more from durango I personally wouldn't buy one brand new from say tower hobbies, etc.

It would be like going out to dinner with a group of people and the last one there gets stuck with the check ...

Lol absolutely. If I were to buy a brand new kit, then I'll just do the Losi. But I was also planning on keeping my eyes open on forums and at my local track (and their FB classifieds) for the Losi or Durango. I know there are other good truggy brands out there but I like the Durango since I'm familiar (and happy) with my Arrma.

I have a dex8t that I just ran last week along side my et48.3. I had a Kraton and loved it, so I sold it and built the kit in December. Then I started doing research and found out they were becoming a little scarce....so it's been just sitting on the shelf mostly ( have about 5 packs through it). I have thought about selling the thing but I just really like the way it drives, and I don't think I'd get much for the roller anyways. I may just retire it for grass use only. Lol So sad team durango. We didn't know what we had until you were gone. Lol

Understandable. If you think about selling, let me know.
How does it compare to the Tekno? My friend bought a used EB48.3. Very cool rig. I'm just more of a truggy fan.

I was going to sell my DEX8 but 1/8 scale is big here, and has been for years. It is far cheaper to keep it and run it than sell it and get something else. I'm hoping that the parts that may break are the ones that I can fix with Arrma replacement parts.

yeah that is the dilemma for sure. if Durango even at a minimum just kept up with parts that could almost be acceptable versus still doing the kits, but it looks like its going to be tough going.

The DEX8T was a great vehicle when I had it, almost as good as my DESC10. Ironically it was the DEX8 that felt like it needed something more for handling versus the competition I raced with.

4wd short course is still popular here but buggy more so. I'm more tempted by SCT for a vehicle this size and I feel that with a full body, large bumpers, and shorter arms, that it should theoretically be more durable. That's a strong factor in my wanting to covert it to a DESC10.

The Tekno responds a little quicker to input I would say, probably because of the narrow chassis. The Dex8t drives very smooth and seems to be very predictable around turns. Best way to describe it is it's just very easy to drive. They're both really good imo.

As some of you may know. Team Durango is now officially gone. That means I need to find parts that I can use on my Team Durango DEX8T from an ARRMA KRATON. Some parts fit as they are based on the same plat from but not all.

Please help me add to this list.

Parts that fit:

Arms
Hubs
Turnbuckles
Bumper
Wing
Wing mount
Diff gears
Diff case f/r
Servo mount

Not sure if outdrives, driveshafts, A,B,C,D plates fit?

Parts that are not interchangeable:

Chassis braces
Motor mount
Center Diff mount

Different forums, but the one that sealed the deal for me was from an insider. More like a manufacture. They were told not to make parts for TD. As it would be no more. Sorry I can't say which manufacture.

Why doesn't the insider come on here and explain what is happening?
