Here's a list of the common hop-ups that the team guys usually get. Keep in mind that you don't NEED all of these. Most guys are running either 3.0 setup or Chris Maralle's setup. Try both and see which you prefer!

Aluminum Servo Horn for your particular servo
JQB0350 High Wing Mount (L)
JQB0349 High Wing Mount (R)
JQB0287 Aluminum Servo Saver Top
JQB0240 Aluminum Wing Mount Posts
JQB0348 Grey Rear Springs
JQB0347 Grey Front Springs
GHEA0056 7x1.3 flat pistons
JQB0194 x2 Lightweight +1mm Hexs
JQB0226 x2 Lightweight +2mm Hexs
JQA0056 x4 CNC Rear Hub Shims
JQB0362 2.4 Rear Sway Bar
JQB0361 2.3 Rear Sway Bar
JQB0359 2.5 Front Sway Bar
JQB0358 2.4 Front Sway Bar
JQB0371 Hard Rear Arms (for warmer climates or high grip tracks)
JQB0370 Hart Front Arms (for warmer climates or high grip tracks)
JQB0219 45T Spur (the new car comes with 46. 45 offers another option for more gearing options. Also lets you run the motor closer to the middle of the car)

So far I have only broken two things. A front arm, but I had the arm cut down 4mm and that's where it broke. I also ripped the shock shaft out of the eyelet / bottom (landed wrong on a monster jump).

If you are the type of guy who wants to have some spares on hand, this is what I would get to start:
front arms
rear arms
hinge pin set (inner and outer)
front and rear shock shafts
the plastic shock parts (bottoms, retainers, etc. they all come in one package)

Anyone have both nitro and electric? How much difference between nitro setup and electric setup?

Most of us are starting out with the same setup and making small changes as we go. In general, the setups are normally close. Maybe a little thicker oil on ebuggy or a tweak here, tweak there.

I haven't seen the kit price yet but expect it to be on par with the competition. As soon as I see one listed, I'll post it for you.

During Silver State, I was told that only the springs were different. Gray on the Nitro, Black on the eCar.

I was going to try my nitro setup on it, so I make that my starting point. Just hope they have the grey springs and 7 x 1.3 pistons in stock soon.

I was told that they have a large restocking order coming to the US Warehouse this week. I need parts too.

my kit came with black and white springs...dunno if thats gonna change in the retail kits...

im starting to rethink setup with my old suspension ecar conversion, works well with grey springs, slowly dialing out push until its just enough to drive lazy but a tick responsive when a tight line is needed, so close to an ideal, regardless of track, i can just change tires to suit conditions... now i gotta start all over with this white kit... but my nitro is clicked, got it just how i like it

i cant wait to compare old vs new, plus ill finally have two electric cars ill never need to repair, my lady will be happy not to be reduced to pitting, but enjoy out driving me into the ground, perfect test subject, shes a good wheel, and hasnt driven any of my buggies...

White car as in white plastic yellow edition? Or will it be a white plastic, white edition like the newer nitro car?

As in same as the WE nitro car suspension now in electric out of the box.
Plastic will be black.

The only kit that has white plastic is the limited edition WE nitro kit.

Cheers

Fred Perkins put his WE kit in the AMain Sunday at the Hobby Hut Season opener. We had over 140 entries and EBuggy is big in this part of the US. I ran my car in practice but chose to focus on Nitro (which didn't work out haha) and it was amazing. We both started with Chris's setup and made a few tweaks.

Notes:
Track was extremely bumpy and dusty
The 7x1.3 pistons are awesome (used AE blanks and drilled them)
Grey springs were on the Nitro car so I ran Kyosho Lt Blues (good 2nd option)
Gearing was 16-45
HobbyWing 150amp ESC
Tekin Gen2 1900KV.
