Hey there ..new to the site ...I've converted my dnx to electric and I've got a 2250kv tekin motor and I'm wondering about gearing .. It still has the 48 tooth spur ...I'm guessing to start about 16 tooth pinion?? Anyone have any info ? Just curious

Sorry if the question is stupid but it's unknown brand where I live.
Absolutely yes...

The quality is awesome, had nothing which needed to be refined or grinded.

16 tooth is great start, may also be a finish as well. I use from 15-20 based on track 16 is my go to on 1900KV

looking at the setup sheets so far (2)
Travis used a 14 tooth on an unknown kv motor
Chris used 15 tooth on a 2400kv motor

I would assume:
16-17 on 2050kv
17-18 on 1900kv

So what batteries is everyone going to run. 2 2c or a 4c lipo?
I know the site and manual says 2 2c for adjustability, but I hear you can run a 4c.

I will check both, I have 2s stick packs from my DEX408v2 I will try and some 4 s packs, I am not sure if it will make a difference, what may make more of a difference is height of the packs.

I got confirmation from my LHS that their tower order has shipped and may be arriving by Tuesday or Wednesday.
