I can appreciate your position. but, Preposterous? UPS rates aren't set by us.
Go ahead and type 12x12x24 and 12 pounds, $400 into the UPS calculator. We're at 59230 (how close was it?)
https://wwwapps.ups.com/ctc
standard shipping is the Best bang for the buck, and it always gets there fast, as others have mentioned. We have the SCT410.3 for $387 shipped. We ship every package, every day, no delays.
I suspect if questioned, most people here get there stuff from us in 2-4 days.

I just paid $28 to ship my .3 via USPS Priority. That would be my recommendation, add options for shipping. Priority is a great option for those of us who like speedier shipping.

So, most folks who know me know I've generally liked the ProTek servos (130T and 150T for SCT410 and EB48 respectively). I recently had an issue with the 150T and decided I would try the newest Savox stuff and picked up a 2274SG. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the lead is long enough for the Tekno vehicles without extensions. The Savox clocks in at .08/347 at 7.4 volts and is brushless. Thanks to the plastic top, it is a few grams lighter too, so not a bad thing for the SC and SL. I'll try to remember to provide an update once I've run it a bit (starting in my EB48 converted to SL).

If you u haven't wired it up yet i would turn your esc around so you have better access to the hot wire port and to make the wires much more clean. I have it the way you do on my .1 and have always wanted to turn it around. I definitely will when i build my .3 today. Just my experience with it and only mho. Have fun truck looks great!

I've been trying to place an order on the AMAIN site for 2 days and I get an error that says "This web page has a redirect loop. Too many redirects". Does anyone know what's going on with this?

I run the ESC the other way around with the posts on the front in order to keep it matching my eBuggy Lite. I do it that way because of allowing more air down the side, past the ESC, to hit the motor. That doesn't matter in SC though, as the airflow isn't coming from just a couple small holes. The only thing to suggest is that if you keep it with the posts towards the back of the vehicle, make sure you secure the sensor wire so it can't flop over/down into the drivetrain on a huge crash or flat land.
