Ok, I thought that the bolt included with the horn must be the pinch bolt, but the way it's designed doesn't actually allow it to "pinch" the horn together. The bolt bottoms out on the horn as it's not recessed like the 23T and 24T versions. I've stripped 2 aluminum servo horns at this point so I'll tighten the saver back up and see if the 3rd time's a charm.
Thanks for the help!

Ok, so what parts (tekno part numbers ) do I need to adjust the toe to 0 ? The original set up sheet has the front toe at .5
There that much off a difference in the .5 to the new recommended 0 , that we have to cut something ?
Someone please explain this to me like I'm a six year old , cause I don't understand.
And what method do you guys use to measure toe?

This only applies if you have the new steering system: TKR8100, TKR8104 and TKR1403. The new ackerman bar (TKR8100) is longer than the original ackerman bar. To compensate, either the original steering links (TKR5123) need to be cut down to 50mm (3mm from each side) or buy a set of 50mm turnbuckles with 4mm thread. Associated, Lunsford and Kyosho makes a turnbuckle this size. Seems like there was one more on Amain.

Here are some 4x50 Turnbuckles that I found to make it easy on everyone.

question about these though with regards to mounting. The Tekno turnbuckles have a notch that goes on the left side of the buggy. There are no notches on these, how would they be orientated on the truck?

Looking at this new recommended setup sheet that was posted a few days ago and I have a question.
The notes mention using the TKR6051 which is the 8x1.3 conical but it says to drill them to 1.4. Why wouldn't you just use the TKR6053 that is already 8x1.4? Is there something else different between them?

Weedsnager,
We have extensively tested this setup at our local indoor (SDRC Raceway) and outdoor track (heritage RC park) and we're surprised to find it worked well at both locations. Neither track is anything alike, SDRC is a medium size clay track and Heritage is a huge outdoor nitro track.
Only real change was to lower ride height to 19mm for indoor. Highly recommend this to be used as a base setup as it's easy to drive and jumps well.
