With those springs I wasnt able to get ride height down that low.. Unless I brought shocks all the way out . Shocks all the way out werent working on tracks with alot of jumps..
Indoor ,high bite, alot of jumps , Fairly smooth: I started with yellow , then to green. These were to high and bouncing around to much. So now using pink. Going to try blk next. But as of now IMO anything heavier then say pink is maybe more for a heavier 1/8 set up. Things might be totally different outdoors ...

I cut one coil of my front/rear springs.I running them at 21mm,fr/22mm,rr with VRP pistons(5x1.5)/Losi oil 20wt front and rear. Works great on indoor high-bite track. I actually run the same combination on my 1/8 super-lite on 4s with the exception of the ride height....22mm,fr/23mm,rr

I have a TA SC5M 2WD running on a medium outdoor dusty loose track. They run the 2WD and 4WD's together. My 2WD on that track is like driving on ice. It is a lot of fun, but I can't run with the 4WD's. The Tekno is now on my short list.
I would like to share the same batteries I use for my Losi 1/8 which are 4S 5800's. The Tekno tray is the right size. BTW, the track does not care what batteries you use. Has anyone used a 1/8 ESC and motor in this? In my Losi 1/8, I run the Mamba 2 with Neu 2200KV motor on 4S and 6S and could not be happier. I am open to an ESC and motor combo that is lighter that can run on 4S. Thoughts?
Tower Hobbies has this for $369 with a $60 off coupon if you spend over $379 and free shipping.

Manual says "M4" once, "M5" twice and Google gives you this:

Wheel nut - What brought this on was I wanted to purchase Hudy quick wheel nut for there set up station. So I ordered the off road 10 scale nut reverseable,, no good . to small. Then I ordered 8th scale wheel nut ,to big no good again.. Now Im stuck with $60 worth of nuts ... Terrific!. So I called Hudy . Turns out they dont make 5mm which from what they say is kinda limited to the 410.3..

My solution is the SL stub axles with Traxxas 17mm hex. That way I can use my Hudy station.
Also you can use TKR5571-17. It is a plastic hex conversion kit from Tekno. The plastic hex's don't work very well on the truck so throw them out, but you won't use them on the setup station. If you have the Hudy 1/8 set up station, the round parts in the photo in the link below are used to adapt the set up parts to the truck. The step on the round plastic part fits the axle hole on the set up tool, then use your wheel nut to tighten it down. I know it will be difficult to visualize but once you have it you will see what I am saying. You may have to ream out the hole in the round plastic part to fit the 5mm axle (they were designed for the 4mm axle), but the system works, tedious to install, but it works and cheap. I have been using it for a couple years with my SCT and does very well.

BTW- how much do you want for the 1/8 Hudy nuts? Not much use to you, but I could use them for my EB and now my SCT. PM me if you are interested in selling.

damn auto correct- yes, clean and blue loc-tite. You have to let it cure before it is really effective, so do it at least the day before you plan to use the truck. Make sure you have a good sharp tool so you don't strip the screw, and tighten that grub screw nice and tight.

Loc tite alternative
Please stop using loc tite. I've been using this stuff for years, nothing falls off or comes loose in my rigs. This stuff is specifically made for high shock and vibration. I use the 30cc because I use it on more than just RC but the 5ml tube would last a good long time for rc stuff.
