7.26.17 - BB In order to run the recommended team setup, you need the following optional parts: TKR6106 Orange LF Springs TKR6114 Green LF Springs TKR6018 composite shock caps (built to emulsion) OR TKR8702 Aluminum Emulsion Shock caps TKR8027 Shock Stand Offs TKR6051 8x1.3 pistons(drilled to 1.4mm) TKR8104 .4 bellcranks TKR8100 .4 ackerman TKR5545B HRC Hubs You also need the Aluminum C Block (others can stay composite) What option parts should I consider buying with a new kit? None are required but we recommend the following: TKR5161 – V2 Adjustable Hinge Pin Brace “A” block, 7075 CNC, EB/NB/ET/NT/SCT) - Helps to improve durability on hard crashes. TKR5163 – V2 Adjustable Hinge Pin Brace “C” block, 7075 CNC, EB/NB/ET/NT/SCT) - Helps to improve durability on hard crashes. TKR5545B – HRC Rear Hubs (L/R, CV or uni, SCT.3/SL) - Improves stability of the rear on mid to corner exit. Allows harder acceleration on corner exit. TKR6146 - CNC Delrin Shock Cartridge Set TiNi Shock Shafts -TKR6004T (front) -TKR6017T (rear) What spare parts should I keep on hand? Hinge Pin Insert Chart:  Warranty Policy: Tekno RC is the only company in the industry that will give 50% off of parts if returned to them using the General Warranty return policy found on their website. The parts can be lightly used or completely abused, as long as the part is still being produced it's covered! Piston Drills: Some of our setups recommend using pistons that are enlarged. For instance 4x1.9 or 3x2.0. To drill the pistons we recommend the following: GMK Supply Piston Drill Set 16PC Metric Bit Set Metric Sizes 2.00 to 3.00 MM.

spectrum 6040 or Savox 1258
I have both servos. Which should I install in my new 410.3? All comments most helpful!

They are pretty much identical spec-wise. My other son ran a 6040 in his B5M. It was pretty decent for the buggy. I've had 1258's in pretty much all my rides for a long time now. The 1258 is a noisy buggar but it seems to perform well. I've also heard the Savox servos are power hungry so if you have a wimpy BEC in your ESC (Castle) that might create a problem.

Does anybody else have play in the steering bellcrank? It seems to be coming from the part opposite the servo saver, the part on the top of this picture: EDIT, can't post pictures yet!

Anyone try a castle 3800 motor in this? I usually use their 2400 but it's just not enough kv on 3s

Having said that, the 3800 is plenty powerful for this truck, but like the 2400, it's kinda in between the ideal kv spots of 2s and 3s. So either run a big pinion on 2s or a small one on 3s.

What were you geared at? 2400kv either needs a lot of gear on 3s or very little on 4s.
Having said that, the 3800 is plenty powerful for this truck, but like the 2400, it's kinda in between the ideal kv spots of 2s and 3s. So either run a big pinion on 2s or a small one on 3s.

If anyone is looking for a tough body... The JConcepts Nissan Titan is a really good body. Reinforce the front clip with dry wall tape & shoe goo, and the rear corners. I have lots of hard crashes on mine, endos, cartwheels... You name it. It's holding up great.
My last body was the JConcepts Manta. It broke in 7 places in my first 2 races. It was BAD. JConcepts sent me this Titan for free, and its night & day stronger than the Manta. The bodies with more detail, more creases, more lines seem to be weaker than the more simplistic body designs. This is simply my opinion, but I do believe the added creases create weak points.
