How much importance do you guys think a body has to do with handling ? Not talking about jumps...just how the truck handles at speed on straightaways and no grip in the corners.
When I first started with this truck it seemed to handle a lot better then It does now, I was thinking it all could have something to do with the body, these are the first two bodies I used
This is the last body I was using (I never put the number plate on)
Ive made other changes to the truck besides the body, but it seemed like whatever diff fluid, tires, pills, etc I tried the truck handled terrible with the body in the last picture...Could the body play that much of a roll ?

Hey Guys,
Wanted to post our new recommended setup for the SCT410.3. This works on most track conditions, indoor and out. Please give it a try and let us know! Thanks!

As for the different roll center hubs, would it be possible to do a hub that has a insert that allows you to adjust the pin height similar to say the Associated B6 hub?

Hi Cain,
You might be talking about an EB48.3 setup. Those have been developed for dirt. I personally dont have experience with carpet but would recommend using heavier springs and swaybars beyond that would roll center and camber link changes. Most likely moving the camber links down on the tower.
Will pass along the idea for the hubs.

what would you change on this setup for carpet? Using the really high bite on right now, or I should say, will try it:

And, can someone give me a best guess for the shock oil using Associated vs the PT that is listed in the set-up sheet. The PT website compares their product to Losi oil, and then I compared the Losi to the Associated. Below is what I am coming up with.
Cliff
PT 450 front = Associated 35
PT 300 rear = Associated 27.5
Did a little home work reading about the PT oils and looks like it is a 5-star product. I may have to order some in the future... for now, I have Associated to use.

Before being sponsored by Proline, Jeremy McGuigan swore by the Jconcepts Ford F250 Super duty XLT supercab
It's the only body I know of that has as large of a built in wing as significant as it is and he said it really kept the rear down as well.
