Welcome to the SCT410.3 Wiki!

7.26.17 - BB
In order to run the recommended team setup, you need the following optional parts:
TKR6106 Orange LF Springs
TKR6114 Green LF Springs
TKR6018 composite shock caps (built to emulsion) OR TKR8702 Aluminum Emulsion Shock caps
TKR8027 Shock Stand Offs
TKR6051 8x1.3 pistons(drilled to 1.4mm)
TKR8104 .4 bellcranks
TKR8100 .4 ackerman
TKR5545B HRC Hubs
You also need the Aluminum C Block (others can stay composite)

What option parts should I consider buying with a new kit?
None are required but we recommend the following:

TKR5161 – V2 Adjustable Hinge Pin Brace “A” block, 7075 CNC, EB/NB/ET/NT/SCT) - Helps to improve durability on hard crashes.

TKR5163 – V2 Adjustable Hinge Pin Brace “C” block, 7075 CNC, EB/NB/ET/NT/SCT) - Helps to improve durability on hard crashes.

TKR5545B – HRC Rear Hubs (L/R, CV or uni, SCT.3/SL) - Improves stability of the rear on mid to corner exit. Allows harder acceleration on corner exit.

TKR6146 - CNC Delrin Shock Cartridge Set

TiNi Shock Shafts
-TKR6004T (front)
-TKR6017T (rear)

What spare parts should I keep on hand?
TKR5020 – Hinge Pins (inner, front/rear)
TKR5516 – Front Suspension Arms and TKR5515 – Rear Suspension Arms
TKR5542 – Spindle Carriers - TKR5541B Spindles
TKR6009 – Shock O-Ring and Bladder Set (for 2 shocks)

Tips and Tricks

List of Vehicle Setup Adjustments and Build Tips can be found here. There are several videos and articles detailing the building of shocks, diffs, camber links, etc.

Use steering stops/limiter washers... more info here.

Setup Sheets:
Setup sheets for all Tekno RC vehicles can be found here. Please be sure to try our recommended setup. It works very well on most tracks.

Hinge Pin Insert Chart:

Warranty Policy:
Tekno RC is the only company in the industry that will give 50% off of parts if returned to them using the General Warranty return policy found on their website. The parts can be lightly used or completely abused, as long as the part is still being produced it's covered!

Piston Drills:
Some of our setups recommend using pistons that are enlarged. For instance 4x1.9 or 3x2.0. To drill the pistons we recommend the following:
GMK Supply Piston Drill Set
16PC Metric Bit Set Metric Sizes 2.00 to 3.00 MM.

I run the tekin 4300 with a rx8 with no heat issues. 16t pinion. Large indoor hard pack dirt track (32 second lap times). Punch set at 70. Brake at 50.
7 min qual using 5800 lipo, 25-30% batt power remain.
10 min main using a 7200 lipo. Battery has 25-30% after race.

I am glad you posted this, cause I was getting upset about how they discontinued the 9352 and couldn't seem to find a likeness with any of the other newer listed servos.
Amain hasn't even stocked this one yet, but I found it at Tower.
Interestingly enough tower only list it's 6v output numbers, rather it's 7.4v stats.
Also, everyone else seems to be measuring it's torque in metric kg-cm, instead of the normal oz/in

The only thing I didn't like about the older 9352 servo was that it didn't like to be hooked up to an unregulated 2S battery and would become unstable in operation when powered like that.
I had no choice but to use an external BEC to get my low output BEC from the hobbywing SCT-Pro to allow it to operate with full stable power.

Looks like they must have fixed this issue with the new 9372, because it directly states that it was designed to operate from 2S outputs in the description, with the added benefit of roughly 40 oz/in torque as well.

The conversion stats come out to be>
7.4v - .06 sec/60°
7.4v - 341 oz/in

I will definitely be getting one of these to try out in the near future.

Yah, the specs look good @.06/341tq on 7.4 and thats why I bought them. I was disappointed too when I went to purchase another 9352 and found it to be discontinued but these are the new supposed to be better replacements to that servo, time will tell.

I know alot of fast guys that run Savox and love them so I am not knocking them but to me they just don't give me the feel my past RadioPost servo's or my current Futaba servo's do, they just don't feel as smooth and precise but thats just my opinion. As I said alot of very fast guys run them so......

I've used many of the servos that people have suggested and they are all very good. Currently I use the Airtronics 94780M. On paper its slow but its speed is perfect on the track. I run my SCT like a hammer head, it is a hammer head class after all, and no matter who or what I hit I've never broken one. Specs:

• Torque at 4.8v: 361oz-in (26.0kg-cm)

• Torque at 6.0v: 423oz-in (30.5kg-cm)

• Speed at 4.8v: 0.19sec/60º

• Speed at 6.0v: 0.15sec/60º

I have been away from the hobby for a while and I got the new Tekno sct410.3 and was wondering if my Viper Copperhead R system is worth even running or get something else? I have the 4.5 and 5.1 motors and have never used them thanks for any information.

They will work just fine. The copperheads are notiriously noisy so your truck might be a bit louder than others.

Lol. I had a Copperhead system (louder than most) in an Axial EXO buggy which has a very loud drivetrain. Thing was hilarious running down the street. Sounded similar to a kid putting playing cards in the spokes of his bike rims. Motor was actually very ballsy and plenty fast in the EXO, which was a heavy pig.
