Default TEKNO RC TOOLS

Tekno just released some new metric drivers/hex tools that appear to be high quality items, but based on their cost what type of life should a consumer expect to get out of them?

If they had a lifetime tip replacement warranty I'd buy them.

No thanks I'll stick to my MIP drivers for half the cost.

Geez that's insane pricing! That being said I don't think that nut drivers or larger hex wrenches NEED to be super high quality because they have a lot more surface area to grab. The 2mm and 1.5mm hex drivers are the only ones that ever seem to need replacement for me.

I found them priced a little better here, I bought a complete set and am eager to see how they perform once I get them. If they weren't made by Tekno I'd probably have bought something else, but I'll continue to support them as I have been impressed with their Products, Customer Service & Support.

I'll report back once I try them out though, hopfully they are as good as their vehicles!

Although pricey, the tips are replaceable. Make the investment once and only pay $10 when the tip wears out. Can't do that with mip. All tips do eventually wear.

You can honestly say you've worn out a MIP tool?

Yes a 2mm and I don't like the handles how they can slide in your hand. I still have their 2.5. The rest are hudy which appear to be very similar to the tekno. Myself and two sons use them so they see their fair share of abuse.

Tips on the Dynamite ones are not expensive.

For that price I would expect them to wrench themselves, set toe, camber, and shock rebound.
