I have heard the Novak makes great motors, but not esc's. Try to swap out the esc and see what happens.

Start over from step one... you mentioned the problem occurred when you added a new model to your radio.

1.Bind the radio and receiver
2. Calibrate the ESC to the radio...

simplest solution is usually the one that works...

forgot to mention...

reset any radio adjustments (throttle, brakes, expos...) to zero before binding..

I didnt even think of recalibrating the radio and esc. Turns out, that was the problem..well part of it. It would just randomly start driving. I bound my dx3.0 and now everything is perfect. Since its been about 2 weeks since ive really driven it, i beat the holy crap out of it in the back yard. Now off to the track.this weekend

Default slow truck

Before using your DX3C for racing, I would try it extensively in another car. My DX3C that has issues became progressively worse over about a month period. I re-set it, rebound to multiple models, and finally put it to rest on a shelf. I also took it apart twice to check for loose connections, bad solder joints or anything else that may have caused this. R.I.P.
