How long is your straight a way? If it's less than 90 feet I wouldn't run any. Just run a stronger motor it will be smoother. If it is longer then the turbo feature is nice, keeps the car feeling smooth around the infield and jumps then on the straight gives you that little extra. Boost makes the throttle feel really touchy to me.

no, I never know when it will kick in, and if I am nearing a turn or bumpy section I do not want it. like said before jump another motor up if you really need it.

If you want more speed, use boost, watch motor temps. I like to think of it as overclocking a processor. It comes with the base measurement (mHZ or turns in this case) and you are trying to squeeze a little bit more out of it then what was intended, but with added risks. Those risks both being overheating and thus causing damage.

Turbo is up to you. If there is a point in your track where u can get to full throttle for a few seconds and you want more speed there, use it. Depends on your track size. Once again, watch motor temps.

I have my turbo set on my 2wd buggy to 1/2 a second full throttle. There's not many places on any track where you are full wood for 1/2 a second other than the straight. Some of the pros have theirs set at no delay, as soon as the trigger hits wide open their turbo kicks in. Even on larger tracks by the time you roll into the throttle then grab wide open you're off so quick to start slowing down.
