Does anyone know what the stock pinion gear is on the newer ECX ruckus 4x4 is? I recently installed the traxxas velineon 3s system and it over heats within 5 min on a 3s lipo pack. Want to gear down to see if that helps. Thanks in advance.

Also I'm using the xt60 connectors. Should I be using the xt90 connectors? Will this cause it to heat up or does it really matter

Stock motor has a 9 tooth pinion gear with mod 1 pitch. I had the same problem with the stock motor overheating on my sons truck. The smallest pinion gear I found was an 8 tooth made by HPI, for one of their trucks. I think it was for the bullet?
