MIP pucks excellent upgrade! The new RCM lockout is an excellent piece as well! These options will greatly reduce weight throughout the drive line!

Nice to hear from you again Tony

Now you've really got me curious! And hopefully this means you're driving for Team Schuey again. The Reedy Race is going to be incredibly competitive amongst different brands now with Tessman @ XRay and Maifield going to Yokomo (not official yet). And if you give Orlowski the right rig he's going to be right there. A huge opportunity for Schumacher to make a statement and get some more attention here. I am also curious to see if they do anything special with the 4wd......

Pretty awesome. I miss running Schumacher cars. I guess for now I will have to see how you make out as we only have about 10 weeks left or so on are indoor track and then guys will take a couple weeks off and then back outdoors.

There are some serious durability issues that need to be worked out. A new transmission is
gonna solve very little of the core problems with schumachers 2wd cars.

May I ask what durability issues you have encountered,I have been running schumacher off-road gear since the first cougar (topcat)! I have found them to be quite tuff,my 4 year old son even drives one of my old KF's and he can have some major crashes!! A couple of broken c- hubs but that's it. That's just my experience with them though.

Cheers,

Oh man where do i even start. If you have been running schumacher that long you know that
the entire front clip, arms , caster blocks , steering knuckles, rear hubs , ect are all SV pieces.
Yes they did move the pivot and extend the Aarms slighlty but its all still 2-3 generations
behind everyone else. Comparing the durability of a kf2 to YZ-2 or B6 is not even fair. Let
alone something like an XB2 or 3.0 losi.

If they want to sell more cars they gotta stop putting crap like offset ballcups in the package
and using arms and pivot pins from a decade ago.

The question really is " Do they care about the US market" if they do and they want to stay relevent they had better
make some serious changes to the cars and there marketing.

Yes I know that they have used the basic design for many generations of the 2wd line, but I have found them to be durable, yes I agree that they should get rid of the offset ballcups but the rest seems to work very well,at least in my experience with them,I agree that the xb2 is nearly bulletproof!!thats why I used the dirt edition gearbox etc on my hybrid car. As for the other brands I have no experience with them.

Cheers

I've personally never had any durability issues either.
