Mikael Orlowski (sp?) has been extremely successful with the LG setup. You could start there and it would be an easy transition to the forward position if you still need more steering.

You need to trim the right side skirt down to the shelve and a little wider than the battery. See kf2 setup at petitrc.com there are picture of this modification. Sorry I'm not sure how to post pictures or I could show you! See above site look up indoor setups Orlowski EOS (Wels) KF2 Nice picture of mod!

Here is the area you have to cut to fit the shorty battery.

Can this car be made to work on a low grip dirt/clay track? I see the SE has the mid motor option which I believe is supposed to be best on low grip?

Another question I had was how much of a difference do the emulsion style caps make. Most every set up requires emulsion caps but Schumacher still sends volume caps with the kit. When I had my K1 I never ran it without the bleeder caps so I was just curious to see if anyone runs regular caps on low grip surfaces?

Emulsion lets the oil and air mix together! With the bladder the oil and air are separated. Emulsion I feel needs to bleed often but has a better feel to the car. The bladder feels more consistent less bleeding involed, but to me doesn't feel as planted on the ground as does emulsion to me! Hope this helps out some.

Yes that does help. Thanks for the advice. Just wish Schumacher would just put them in the kit, not crazy about the fact you are adding $30 to the price of the kit before you even start building.

I posted this on the KF thread too.... anyone know if the KF2 bodies fit on the original KF?

Also, are there any other options for spur gears? Can I run AE?
