Default Tekno SCT410/EB48.2 chassis

M2C is currently in development of a new chassis for the Tekno short course and eb48 ebuggy, these chassis are made of 7075 -t6 grade aluminum. Steel skid plates that are level with the chassis so they have little to no drag and they have the bumper mod.The M2C chassis is around 2 grams lighter with the skid plates attached. These are going to be an excellent upgrade for these vehicles, I will be testing them this week and will report back on how they handle versus the stock unit. It also has steel droop screw stops.

Are these still 4mm or are they 3mm like the bce chassis?

Would be interested in one or 2 as I have the bce and would like to compare the 3mm to a 4mm plate.

Build the battery tray mod into it otherwise I really don't see a need for another aftermarket chassis

Just finished testing, chassis had good flex and with the steel skid plate inserts I don't think you will ever have to replace the thing. Bumper mod also worked out great. I believe the real selling point for these chassis' over everyone else is the steel skid plates, more droop and a little less weight. M2C said they should have the finished product by next week with a price range between $80 and $115, better get them while there hot. By the way I don't run the battery mod on buggy or 4x4 sct and am just as fast if not faster then most everywhere I go.

Not for nothing, but a lot of us do run the battery mod,and honestly your only drilling out 4 more holes. To lose that many customers over something so small doesn't make sense to me. Your call though

Ok so I talked to M2C and our idea is to make an aluminum piece that slides underneath the battery tray and bolts using the stock bolts, then all you have to do is cut out the rear of the battery tray and move the battery back to that point. This will eliminate cutting up the battery tray to much and it will be a reliable solution to moving the battery further to the rear and stopping it from going any further.
