People talked about the new SCT410, but I was thinking a revision to the SCT410.3, not an EB410 based truck!

Ok, haven't read the Tekno stuff yet, but the SCT 410.3 was based on their earlier 1/8th scale E-Buggy, now they try to base one on a 1/10th scale buggy? Weird. Trying to shed some weight?

I won't be swapping, we race 4WD SCT at our 1/8 outdoor track. I am not really looking for anything lighter or less durable on that size track.
I am sure the indoor, carpet and 1/10 track guys will however be impressed.

I bet it is a et410.2, with a longer chassis and different body mounts and bumpers. It should share 95% with the eb410.2 and et410.2. It will be a lot light lighter then the sct410.3. This is what we did with the Cobra chassis, then later with Prostar. Prostar stuff should be better. But with official body mounts, that is cool. Took them long enough.

They need to do something about that rear bumper though!

I used to race the original release of the SCT410 as well as the.3 version up until a couple years ago when the 1/10 program died off in my area. My biggest gripe was cooking my 2S electronics due to the excessive weight:

I would eventually convert to 4S with a 3660-1800KV motor to solve my issues and would actually complete a 20 min main mixed with nitros:

I am very happy to see a reasonably durable 1/10 based platform that can truly support 2S and still be competitive, if the class comes back locally, I just might re-join it again with the SL
I'm also considering a conversion of a PR mini truggy to SCT which is a considerably more durable (and equally competitive) platform based on my experience with both brands.

I want to know where I can get a set of those wheels!
What brand are they?
They look like the old HPI Blitz SCT wheels.

Thanks Tekno, for setting me straight on path of righteousness. Having tossed and turned about getting a PR Racing's SB401R-T to compliment my ET410/love for mini truggy platforms, then the news of the SCT410SL hits the airwaves... I now know the direction I need to go for my mini truggy/SCT fun. Being able to share parts between a couple of ET410 mini truggies, and a SCT410SL means a lot to me.
