Heads up for those who run on dirt or clay tracks, I would buy extra front bumpers. I was going to run my car yesterday at OCRC and the car had drag like I've never experienced before. It felt like I had binding in the center mount section. I removed the belts to see where the binding was coming from, it was in the front transmission. I was in the process of removing the front trans, unscrewed the front bumper and removed it to get to the four screws that go into the transmission and what seemed like a hand full of dirt dropped out of the front transmission. I think the front bumper needs to be made out of a stronger material that wont wear out as fast.

is front ride height measured from the hinge pin holder or back where the kickup starts, ive never seen a car before where the hinge pin holder is mounted under the chassis

I had the same thing happen in one run on Sunday. I'm pretty sure I hadn't hit anything hard, but the lipo was all the way forward after the run.
I've just bought a new set of holders for now, as I probably won't by running the lipo all the way back when the track is drier.
You could always drill a hole in the carbon battery strap & use a nut & screw to stop the lipo moving.

For those that need a starting point for med-high bite clay, here is a set-up sheet for my car. It should be a good start. Please fell free to let me know if you make any changes that will make it better so I can try it myself.

hi john, I've moved to Oroville and been running at amains outback track.... super hooked clay pretty much everyone running primes but still miss running at lrh. I limit up travel to keep the dogbones from hitting the outdrives. i'm using the plastic shock towers and flat front arms, mostly stock with the roll bars and narrow rear belt. I've only had the car a week or so still trying different stuff but for me I need more pack in the rear how they get 1.7 to work I dunno
