They are both the same, ball diff or gear diff. Both cars come stock with the gear diff, the ball diff is a option part, so to speak.

I was in the process of removing the front trans, unscrewed the front bumper and removed it to get to the four screws that go into the transmission and what seemed like a hand full of dirt dropped out of the front transmission. I think the front bumper needs to be made out of a stronger material that wont wear out as fast.

At least he looks happy

I've just bought a new set of holders for now, as I probably won't by running the lipo all the way back when the track is drier.

You could always drill a hole in the carbon battery strap & use a nut & screw to stop the lipo moving.
servo tape in your battery, just a little on each end of the lipo works perfectly.

That'll get really boring doing it every time you change battery though.

Hey cracky: Why are you limiting up travel by 2mm? Just curious. Mine seems fine at stock, at LRH.

hi john, I've moved to Oroville and been running at amains outback track.... super hooked clay pretty much everyone running primes but still miss running at lrh. I limit up travel to keep the dogbones from hitting the outdrives. i'm using the plastic shock towers and flat front arms, mostly stock with the roll bars and narrow rear belt. I've only had the car a week or so still trying different stuff but for me I need more pack in the rear how they get 1.7 to work I dunno

I've never had a problem with a lipo, but over here in the UK, we have to charge in a lipo sack at race meetings, if not, we're invited to go home.

How should anyone know that? Ask your Yokomo dealer.
