just an fyi, if you use the brc yokomo front bumper. use a m3x18mm screw in the rear holes, not a 16mm like they recommend.

@rythby, I believe you will need these shims Z4-300RRS to be able to go above the rear-rear hanger. The upper ones have half-holes for the screws to pass thru and into the hanger

+1 with Low ET's suggestion to use m3 x 18mm screws over 16mm per the rear 2 holes on the YZ4 front bumper/skid by BRC on Shape ways.

Hello Brew,

Sorry for the delay my friend. If you are just looking to buy the rear axles per use with the 2 piece alu rear hubs check out MIBOSPORT. Michal is an awesome gent and has products sent to your door in 3days from Czechoslovakia.

His store is the only online store I know about in which one can purchase the exact part needed.

Sorry I don't have the part number of hand however MIBOSPORTS website has all the parts broken down and listed. Any questions per there site and your needs just email Michal BoK and he will reply lightening fast.

If you want to keep spending down purchase YOKZ2-300rs. Aluminum rear rear shim per use between the top of the rear rear hanger and rear camber block. I believe another shim is included for the rear front.

Anyone using kyosho springs? Which ones would be best for clay ? Bumpy at times with jumps with flat landings? I tried the green and the orange yokomo and it was too bouncy. Tried 450 500 525 and 550 oils. Tried 1.6 and 1.7 pistons

hello,

i would like to know if i can re-use my yokomo bmax4 v3 anti-roll bar kit on the yz4?

besides, which parts of my bmax4 i could recycle for the yz4? (at first sight, the floating servo mount, shocks, arms, ball cup and wing mount seems to be a direct fit but i'm not sure)

Thank you

Floating servo mount will require dremeling the catch pin of the bottom. Shocks yes. Not sure why you would not want to use the YZ4 shocks as the are excellent. Rear a arms I believe you can fit.

Make sure you bleed the shocks really good thus no rebound. VRP pistons 2/1.6 front, 2/1.7 rear or 3/1.3 rear. I like the orange front springs with greens in back. It looks like you may be to heavy with you shock oils you mention trying above. Try 35 weight front and 30 weight rear. This has worked perfa for my liking

Thank you Norse

but does the anti roll bar fit ? it's a "must have" but i dont want to throw my money for same parts but in a different color.

I'll use my bmax's shocks because i'm just too lazy to remove my 2/1.6 pistons to put them in the x-shock 3, i hate c-clips.

Regarding the shocks don't be lazy my friend as you will loose out on the YZ4 superior smooth shocks. Pic up some VRP 2/1.6 fronts and either 2/ 1.7 or 3/1.3 rear pistons for your YZ4 shocks. You could sell your BMAX shocks as some one will purchase. I am not sure on the BMAX roll bar being a fit for the YZ4 thus I will check and get back to you.

The VRP pistons are excellent and they have a nice little seat for the eclips thus the eclipse are super easy to get on.

Kyosho oils. If you do use AE oils I believe their oils are about 2.5 less than TLR or Yoshi I may be wrong however I think AE oils are a tad lighter.

So AE 35 and AE 30 would be closer to TLR 32.5 and 27.5?

I always thought it was the other way, 30wt losi seemed to be about 27.5wt AE. I could be wrong though

Go by cst ratings not weight ratings. Its the most accurate comparison.
