This car looks really good at the worlds and my current wheeler is up on the chopping block. Seeing the car come with plastic parts everywhere is really frustrating with a $469 price tag. I'm torn between this and the xb4 16 but you get a lot more for your $ with the xray car. Just wish it was out of the box more on the yz-2 level.

I'm gonna wait for a bit and see if they come out with a Team kit or how the first cars do in the states on actual dirt. Can't wait to hear from you guys after you build and run them.

They are going to release two versions of this car. I talked to them via email and this is the standard kit but will have a team kit also.

Yeesh. Have fun with outrageously expensive spares. Having to buy one arm for each end of the vehicle (IE Front right arm $10.00, front left arm $10.00 etc...). Car costs a fortune to maintain. Good luck, I had the 2014 version. Ditched it just because of that, and always backordered parts.

Your saying all this before seeing what the price of parts are going to be and what the wear and tear parts are. I had a xb4 15 and never broke a part and the only maintenance was changing oils so I don't know what to tell you. The 44.3 was a hell of a lot more expansive to up keep.

If you look at recent Yoke offerings, the parts quality is top and the parts are inexpensive compared to other kits. Take a look at the yz 2 parts.

With all that though, the cost of replacement parts has rarely seemed material to me as compared to how often I've had to change them and the time off the track.

If you like belt cars, I'd be looking at this car but I wold also look at the new Schuey K2. It looks like it has the weight inline and good battery placement options. That and few cars look as exotic as a carbon Schumacher.
