What does running a narrow rear belt do? I saw a few setup sheets that reference that

It turns better for me with the shocks on the front and suits my driving style better. With the shocks on the back the car seems to over rotate on dirt . I also did not like the effect I got when I added 50 grams behind the battery. On carpet I did not notice as much of a difference.

On dirt did you feel a difference in traction? With shocks forward?

I actually did not feel a loss of forward traction just more rotation on corner entry and less oversteer on exit wich is what I was looking for. I have found tire selection to be way more important than shock location . I am running holeshots up front with 3ds in back .

It felt like I had binding in the center mount section. I removed the belts to see where the binding was coming from, it was in the front transmission. I was in the process of removing the front trans, unscrewed the front bumper and removed it to get to the four screws that go into the transmission and what seemed like a hand full of dirt dropped out of the front transmission. I think the front bumper needs to be made out of a stronger material that wont wear out as fast.
Hello Cracky,

I have made mine in 3D, available in shapeways.

Some drivers were asking for it, with a better gear box seal and covering the front suspension mount.
I have made it in "normal" plastic or in Alumide ( Metallic plastic ).

I personally use the Alumide material ( painted with black tamiya spray TS-6 )...it is enough resistant.

The link to order ( sold by Pair ) :

After 5 days of training on a track with big jumps.

Nice part... Is the stronger one $ 15.80 or $ 16.27 ?

Both are made with Alumide...the less expensive is not polished.

Your asking a lot of those small belts with a 6.5, 5.5 motor is such a heavy car.
I see yokomo fixed the arm braking problem and was wondering did the part number stay the same or do the revised arms have a new part number. Thanks in advance.

Same since I switched the kit arms I got for a new set I ordered. Broke one, but I smacked HARD right into a brick wall at super high speed.

The part number may be the same but the arm is no longer flat. I got 3 sets that looked gull wing-ish. I sent a picture to A-Main and so they sent me another set... It was the same thing I already had..

So oh well I'm running them on the car.
