Same rotation as the 22-4 and there is nothing wrong with that car. as far as weight balance is concerned, I dont think it will be an issue because of the way the battery is mounted.

The battery looks as though it sits central across the chasis that wont counter balance the offset motor and servo weight on the LHS. At least the battery will now be lower down in the chasis than the current car, it looks as though it sits flat upon it.

Questions??

Looks like Lee Martin brought some of the Tamiya/TRF line over when working with Shin on this car... I see a TRF511/503 with the motor closer to the center line.. ... but with Yokomo's twist added from the BMAX-4 ... now for the parts you can not see... it's either a belt to gear set up.. or more belts... which might be the case and now your looking at a 4 belt drive car..??

Think the k2 is going to be a fantastic car with amazing balance, I also disappointed in this....

Looks like a three gear transmission at each end, motor rotation will be the same as the TRF cars and Schumacher K1. I preferred driving the SX3 over the K1, really looking forward to the K2 which looks balanced, neat and simple and motor direction same as SX3 and opposite to the K1.

Bet Yokomo will make this car good though!

Agreed. The K2 looks on point with ultimate balance.

In my area, 4w mod has become 13.5 4w buggy - I sold my Bmax4 as a class that gets legged down the straights by the 17.5 2w buggies on turf isn't my cup of tea but even if I were to give it a try, I'd have to pass on this car and I'm a huge Yokomo fan. In that sort of motor-spec environment, the shaft drive cars are already generally up on the belt drive ones. Using two belts to turn two gear boxes to absolutely eliminate torque steer with a 5.5 might be a great idea in that particular situation but otherwise, holy-rotating mass and drivetrain drag

Going to have to pass on this layout. I wanted to match my yz-2 but looks like I'll be sticking with the xb4 15 for now.

The yz-2 is amazing. I got it because my local track is carpet. Speed factory looks great with the carpet added I wish it was like that before I left!

I'm kind of in the same boat. Will have to see how it does on Clay, if its not good, or takes forever for them to figure it out, I'll stick with my D413 as well.
