I am running 5.5t motor and even the 6mm belt is indestructable, and i feel alot less resistance than the wider belt.

I felt the same thing until i put the 6mm belt on, and for some reason it made it alot easier to turn over but dont panic theres nothing wrong with running a tight belt and they will strech alot.

What size is the original pulley?

Option parts needed already?

Why didn't they just include the most efficient belt/pulley combo in the kit?

Yokomo becoming the new Schumacher....

The original belt is 8mm and there is nothing wrong with it, after 20 minutes the belt was free and smooth as butter, and yes i bought every single possible option for the yokomo and i mean everything, but you no what not one of them has made the car better or more durable the buggy felt exactly the same fully hopped up as it did stock you know me i just love BLING i cant get enough BLING BLING lol. Go wash your mouth out hacker dont even put yokomo and schumacher in the same sentance, i owned the schumacher cat k1 and there wasnt a time i finished a race without something breaking or failing i will never own another schumacher in this lifetime. Pls dont hate on yokomo this car is so advanced it really is unbelievable and if you want to see it in person hacker let me no.

Gents, trying to get some stainless steel counter sunk screws for the underside of the chassis for yz-4 before it arrives, seen many of you guys have already build the buggy and I am unable to find the manual over the Internet, any kind soul can let many know how many counter sunk needed for the under chassis and length?
Thank you!

I would suggest that you have built the K1 wrong then, Typical user error and blame the manufacturer!

They ran the narrow belts at the Worlds with stupid amounts of power, so it should hold up just fine with a 6.5.

Don't forget, 6mm is still a pretty chunky belt.

Just be cause they make a new part doesn't mean it is mandatory for the car to work. That is why they call them "Option Parts".

That being said, these option parts are far less expensive than Schumacher. That floating servo mount would be $40 if Schuey made it.

At least there wont be an option pack upgrade to run on another surface for this car, at least for a long long time, thats the problem with Schumacher, there is always another upgrade a few months down the line that will cost you oodles of cash, and all because they hashed it out in a rush, never have cared for the brand, over done, over complicated and fragile.
