Has anyone experienced the rear arms splitting on the molding seem on the inner hinge pin side? I've had three do the same thing from what are very minor contacts or tumbles. I run on high grip astroturf and I am thinking there may have been a bad production run on these arms. They don't break completely they are just cracking.
I have 2 YZ -2'S and it's happened on both cars.

Yup, splits right across the mould seam.
Always been from a direct hit to the side of the wheel, not necessarily a hard hit but a hit non the less.
Both the yz2 & bmax4 arms split across it.

On my first day of running the yz2 i also split a rear arm as you describe. Also heard this problem from a friend.
Hope a new revision will be out to fix this

I got the same issue and broke three arms at the same location, was using Bmax4 III arms, a little weaker than stock arms.
In fact my hinge pin was bent a little and that was why I broke those arms, check yours, found that bent pin was the issue.

Never had this happen on either the stock or the B-Max4 III arms. I am still on the first set of each, and my driving is average at best.

Had buggy from day 1 when it hit Amain. Never broke an arm.

Hey Gents, Finally took the plunge and bought 2 YZ-2's. One for myself and one either for Wifey or my son to replace his PRS1 MM which has been excellent. We run outdoors on dirt/clay mix with really good grip thanks to the calcium they drop the night before we race.
I realize this thing is a tad light in the rear but I aim to remedy that with some of my homemade ingenuity to add a touch weight as low and as far back as possible. If my idea does as well as I expect, this thing will be beast with the original lay down tranny. Either way I think it's going to be fun!

Thanks for the tips gentlemen. I just thought of something we used to have back in the day from Team Hammer… A Bi-Level Off-Road wing where the upper pane was adjustable.
This would add more downforce over the rear of the car without literally "weighing" it down. Might have to finally get going on my Wing design. Always making more work for myself.
Grrr! LOL

Are there any body options for the YZ-2? I see the stock/lite and the Azarashi...anything else available?
