Upon the comparison of the springs, the kyosho springs are the same length as the yatabe springs. So if you already have kyosho springs your ready to rock on the dirt.

What makes the new springs any different? That they would be the only ones to be used with the car. Could they be intended for the astro tracks?

Those are not the astro/carpet springs. The yz-2 shock is a shorter shock in comparison to the bmax shock. The springs are much shorter than the bmax springs.

Crap. So I ordered the wrong springs, oh well. Will the kit springs work on indoor clay or will I need to wait for the new springs to make it to Amain?

New springs should be live tomorrow or possibly by the end of day today. they are here, just going through process to get them loaded in the system!

The B-Max2 blues could work if you did not order the long version of the rear blues BM-1190XL, which were released together with the MR. These are supposed to have the same rate as BM-1180X.

I've all the Yatabe and now all of these new springs (although still in packets apart from YZ-2 Kit ones). They are same X-gear quality as yatabe, but longer in length. rears approximately 5mm longer, fronts 3-4mm longer.
I've not yet tested rates.

Yatabe astro springs are shorter to allow for lower rides heights.

I disagree, having both cars on my desk.

Yatabe springs are shorter than the new YZ-2 springs, and the shocks are the same lengths.

Picked mine and a parts order up lunchtime 14th Jan, It's now built, just painted shell, need to wire it. Should be lots of happy MB models customers receiving orders today.

Build is awesome, quality is ace. Shocks are something else. best i've ever felt.

So is MB carrying the parts already? The US importer, AMAIN only lists the car, but the parts support doesn't reflect in the system.

I want to order one, but the fear of driving it before parts are available is a bit scary. Would hate to wreck it on the first outing, and be waiting 6wks for spares to be available.

I COULD order from overseas, but cost wise, does it average out esp where shipping and cost are concerned?

Really looking fwd to getting one. A few people here have ordered them.
