Hi guys, I've been building my YZ2 for a week now (taking my time). All racers have their 10 must do's on most kits, I'm just wondering does anybody have a 10 must do's for this car? Example shock building tips, shimming etc.

Car is going to be run in mod on carpet

Honestly there really is nothing you need to do special to the car.

I don't know enough about the car, but is it possible that it is just a Bmax2 V3 with the YZ-2 suspension parts and body?

Its a yz2....

I will work on a conversion kit list. So far it looks like it can be made without much work. There are 2 holes that will be needed to be drilled in the chassis.

It is definitely a YZ-2. Looks like they are using the tranny and rear shock tower from the bmax.

What is this tranny swap supposed to do? Increase grip?

The bmax rear tranny sits higher and gives the car more roll for grip ...the flat tranny keeps the car from rolling as much for a higher grip surface

Also, the B-Max tranny will move the motor more to the rear of the car. I hope there will either be a conversion kit or a full kit, or at least a set of black aluminum parts. Although I am set on running Yokomo's new 4WD on dirt next year, I would love to add the dirt spec YZ-2 to my collection.
