Yes! Correct. I can never remember anything. If 3,000 came with the kit then that's what I'm using.

For anyone looking for replacement eclips and don't wish to be forced into buying a shock shaft for 2 clips look no further. 20 clips for like $2 and you're set.

It doesn't look like there are weak parts. I only see two things often mentioned:
-machined shock pistons
-ball diff.

I've seen the 22 ball diff will fit. Does the b5 also fit or is it just the b4? The internals are the same but the outdrives are obviously different

These will be a slightly better fit in the shock bodies than the stock molded ones: http://www.amain.com/yokomo-x-shock-...-1.6mm/p270523

Would add the under battery weight to that list: http://www.amain.com/yokomo-racing-b...ight-2/p417657
I haven't seen one of these cars make min weight on a shorty pack out of the box yet and that's going to be a better way to get it up to that than taping a hodgepodge of weights all over.

Out of the box.

I haven't seen one weigh over 1480 before adding weight yet. Always a shorty though. Carpet tires are a bit lighter but it's funny to watch someone who spent hundreds of dollars getting a b5m/rb6/etc. down to weight for stock racing suddenly have to try to get a car up to weight when they've switched to this one.
