I'd like to get an aluminum horn however, something in the 21-22mm centre to centre is needed.
Gotta use the 22-4 horn. I've been using it for months, no issues

MIP does not make an official puck kit for the YZ-2. I am sure you can take measurements and use parts from other puck kits to create a custom one that fits. After switching to Yokomo from AE, I stayed away from the puck kits and don't miss it at all. I never had any issues with the OEM Yokomo parts.

MIP also dropped support for Kyosho so I am back to OEM parts for my SCT as well.

Default Taking the plunge

Im finally doing it. Im buying two yz2 buggys after getting fed up with the 22 3.0. I race on carpet, bumpy astro, and high grip clay and there are b6 and rb6.6 buggys everywhere. So should i buy two carpet editions and get dirt parts (minus the gearbox as laydown is dominant on our clay) or two dirt editions and get carpet parts. The carpet kits look like they have a little more value in the box to me.

Another question i have is are there any lightweight drivetrain parts avaliable for the yz2? i usuually run aluminum topshafts, outdrives, and dogbones on my stock buggys in order to get the max power i can from my motor...

I can't find the 48mm turnbuckles for the rear for sale anywhere. Do people just use the 52mm turnbuckles?

Will the CA edition take a square pack, or is it shorty only?
