Considering getting the new dt kit as i like my yz4 so much , Is there any option parts needed straight up for low to medium bite outdoor track or is it that good straight out of the box for traction as people are saying it is?

What spring options are folks running for medium to high bite clay with the 1.6 1.7 Pistons that seem popular here. full, disclosure I'm not a yokomo owner yet. Have an xb2 currently but am switching to yokomo springs and need a set that I can use and also transfer to a yz2 CA. Think the buggies are similar. I don't know the accuracy of the petit rc spring chart...
Thx in advance.

Correct, the DT is longer. However, the guy who makes the locking one for the "regular" YZ-2 is a member on here, you could ask him about a DT version.

I've been running 1.7 up front with 32.5-35 oil, yellow Yoko spring. 1.6 rear with 25-27.5 oil and green Yoko spring I ran this combo on high grip and medium and it worked well. Jumps very nice.

I'm keen to pull the trigger on a YZ-2 DT. But with the YZ-2 released end of 2014, then the DT announced beginning of this year, how soon can we expect another new design or update?
