I run stock 80t with 22t pinion.

Alrighty then guys. Just finished redoing my ball diff using a B-fast kit and I ended up raising my drivetrain 2mm to see how it changes. Have a memorial race in the morning for a friend who lost his battle with liver disease and our track is hosting a free everything race in his honor.

I will be paying close attention to see how this change affects the car. I will say it was a real B to bolt it down because the rear bulkhead pushes everything forward as the tranny is raised, and with the higher position you really have to muscle it into position to align the screw holes.

By the way, I'm running 72/31 with my Fantom 17.5.

Is the drive ratio of the diff 2.60 like the B5. I was going to run 69/31 with my 17.5

Does anyone knows if the bmax2 gear diff fits the yz-2 dt?

Today had my first race with the dt edition....the car with the manual setup was really really good!!! With few tweaks I found what I wanted (stiffer front springs, short wheelbase and 1 deg anti-squat)! The track had med traction with med jumps and quite flat...from the first run it was a better car than my bmax2...

Ps: not a perfect driver, but...that's my thoughts...

Yes it does fit, however in the DT buggy they have changed the gear to 14 balls, not 12 and the gear is wider than the original Bmax2 gear

Regards

And it's a better diff for it, however mine till longer then usual to break in, using a captured thrust bearing, kept loosening up until Sunday when it magically stopped, didn't bark it, but it felt loose on the bench and on the dirt, so take your time and break it in properly.

Default Fantom

How hot is the fantom running. I'm about to install and was told 72/33 and gear up if it gets hot? Would have thought the opposite and gear down. Temps and how's it running in the yokomo?

Hello

I did look after an answer what the gullwing front arms/tower do to the car, but didn't found something.

Does it make the car smoother in the corner?
The underground would be Astro.

First run on ths car last night, ran at least as good as my B5M and had no time to actually tune it. It is Night and day compared to my orig Yz2. I run on a dirt track with low to med traction and lots of dust. The car was very neutral with lots of rear grip even a little bi9t of under steer, I changed front tires and got a lot more steering for the main. I'm impressed since I've been running the B5M for 7-8 months and lots of tuning time on it and my laps were just as good or better with this car, and I was way down on power too, (I put a bad motor in the car by mistake and didn't have anything else to switch to). To say the least I'm extremely happy with the new car.

Hello! Could someone do me a huge favor and measure the exact distance between the holes (center to center) on one YZ2 wing mount? Thanks!

(Between the two vertical holes on one mount for mounting on the shock tower)
