it's just a mock up

I doubt it's actually double sided on

have a look at the receiver, it's sitting on an angle, just sitting there

Have a YZ-2 on the way and just wanted to see what people had best experience/setup on high grip carpet. The track I run on is very flat and smooth with a maximum of 3 jumps on the track usually landing to flat. Turns are typically very tight so 80% of being quick is corner speed so you can sacrifice jump/land ability. Any info on tires, shock oil/position, and also what motor size would be best. Currently debating on either a 13.5t or 17.5t Reedy motor with Black box ESC (leaning towards 13.5t being that its a tight track.) Thanks for any info!!!

I run my Yz-2 indoors on high grip carpet with slicks. I have a nice setup, but since i run mod with a 6.5 motor, i donīt know how much use you will have of it. For example i add a lot of weights. Maybe itīs a starting point anyway.
If youīre not running slicks, i would look on some of the setups on petit rc, especially how Lee and Marc ran their cars on EOS.

I canīt seem to upload the setup sheet, if you want it i can email it to you.

Awesome thanks. Maybe I'll look at a lower turn motor then. I've downloaded the setup sheets I believe you're talking about. Typically I run my pro2 truck pretty stiff in shock angle and oil so not sure what a starting point would be for the shock oil. I've seen other buggy drivers have success with slicks but they seem to wear extremely quick especially with a soft compound and paragon added every race. Possibly Jconcepts BarFly or dirt webs seem to hook up without too much bite.

Cool thanks matterooth. I think I may go with a 10.5t Novak. Next major question would be about what gearing have you had success running? Don't know how tight the track is that you run on but any starting point would be good.
