Exclamation ***HELP NEEDED***

I recently acquired an old tmaxx truck. the previous owner, a close friend, said that it had been warn out, so i got it for free. i tore out all the nitro parts, engine, tranny, tank, etc. i was looking around an emaxxs and was think of converting my tmaxx into an emaxx. there are several things i need help or opinions on.

first and most important, will buying an emaxx transmission work if i could make an acrylic adapter for it

second i was thinking of doing a dual brushed setup or a brushless set up. i would like this truck to be raceable, yet not looking to spend much money, mabye atmost $200. i want to be able to take it down to my local hobbytown usa races every Saturday.

thanks for taking a look and, hopefully, leaving a response.

Buy a used or new Emaxx.

Use the Tmaxx for parts that cross over.

I think you might want to take a look at what is actually racing down at your local track. Traxxas vehicles' aren't known for their race-ability so you may end up spending more time and money than expected trying to get it competitive. Hopefully somebody here with more traxxas experience may have already done this and could help you. They may chime in but you could always search the forums if you have not already.

If all else fails, strap some tannerite to it and make it a moving target.
