I THINK WE ALL TRY TO BUY FASTER LAP TIMES, AND THINK WE KNOW IT WONT BE THE DIFFERENCE THAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR, BUT LINE UP CAUSE WE ARE GOING TO TRY ANYWAYS

Only because the ones I had seen and driven, sucked! I put 5 laps on a buddies B5M and was sold!

My almost new B5 sits on the shelf or gets run in the growing stock class at our track for fun. Otherwise it's B5M FTW..

22MM at our track..you couldn't pay me to run that car!
Alright, well that pretty much sums it up! I should've done what you did and pre ordered the B5M. I think I'll go back to my roots and get one and give the 22 2.0 to my oldest son when he's ready after running SCT this year. Like I said before, it's a great car but it just doesn't suite me. I feel like I'm always trying to tune it to run like my b4.2...who knows though, maybe I'll be tuning the B5M to run like my b4.2 as well

lol, if my 22 does not amaze me this weekend, it is getting sold. I have put more effort into that car than any car I have owned. It is right up there with the sc10 4x4 for the effort required to make it drive the way I want. Well, maybe comparing anything to the sc10 4x4 is a bit harsh, lol.

Skeasor. If you are looking to go back to AE and your 22 is clapped out, just do it. you can probably find a lightly used one for a great price. I just bought a lightly used one for my daughter with pucks, alum screws, alum top shaft, milled motor plate and a few other things for $225. The car needs a little work, maybe $20 in plastics, but a gem none the less. My 9 year old is 4 seconds faster on our local medium bite track compared to her 22.

Thanks, Wildcat. I may look for some used. I can't remember when Towerhobbies sale ends but I'm sure it's until the end of the month. I'd like to buy used, but part of the fun is building the kit. How about this...If you're impressed with your 22 2.0 this weekend then you can strip down the B5M and sell it to me

Seriously though, if I'm going to get one it will be new. It's fun for me and my son to go through and build it.

Switch to Team C, you can get yourself a new EVO at the end of every season. They're only $100. Just transfer your upgrades. Though the kit comes with most upgrades, so you won't have many parts to move.

I honestly thought about it but I like that fact of taking a 15 minute drive to my LHS and picking up the parts.

Is it so much better to "try" and be different. I have been driving AE and TLR since the 80s. I have have owned several other brands just to try out. The TeamC was a turd. It has no local support for parts. I dont care if everyone locally ran the teamc car, I would still run my AE and tlr cars. I support the companies I want to stay in business. Buy american. Yeah, they are all made elsewhere due to today's global economy and sure TT owns AE, but it is much closer to American than TeamC

I was going to but ended up hitting the 'escape' button. Sometimes it's just not worth it.

I always find myself replacing my cars (Not just Buggy) just before the new version gets Announced for an upcoming release.

(Bought a B44.1 for a sweet deal..... 44.2 announced 3 weeks later)
