electronic posts in the off road forum rant
I have a hard enough time searching for things in the forum and would like to know why there are motor and esc threads in the off road forum? For example, why does Hobbywing have a special thread in this forum as opposed to the electronics forum?

I don't see the big deal, try narrowing your search key words

I would think because they are directly related. Now if there were motor and ESC posts in the nitro offroad forum I would wonder what the hell

This is the electric off road makes sence to me. If the person that is asking the question or needing advice/makeing a thread owns or is looking to buy a off road electric R/C or any part for a ELECTRIC off road R/C be it the ESC or Motor would make sence to ask it here. You see the key word to this section is ELECTRIC. Where else do you expect them to ask such questions. Gotta be smarter then the average search function I guess.

Use google as your search engine for your needs.
Just put in "site:rctech.net (search query)
The way this site indexes threads makes it hard to find what you're looking for. You could put in Tamiya and most likely the first thread to show up would have no relevance to your query but someone's signature might have your keyword in it.

It is THAN and not THEN, as a comparison. Quite funny.
However, I understand what you're getting at but that would be the same thing as asking the same question in the ELECTRIC on-road forum....But what I asked wasn't about individual questions, but the fact that the company has a dedicated thread in the off-road forum and when their system can handle other types of RC cars.
