Default Which buggy should I keep

I just bought 2 buggies and need to decide which one to keep and which to resell. They are both used, and in average shape. Nothing broken on either.

Duratrax Dxr8e vs Ofna LX Comp converted to electric

The one I keep will be used for bashing and at a public track for casual racing. Nothing serious. The track is smallish, with no straights more than 30ft. A few decent size jumps and a few too many turns. The surface ranges from loose and dusty to muddy and can be uneven....its a open track in a public park so it is what it is.

So I am looking to keep one and sell one. Parts seem to be easier to find for the ofna, and I already have some in my inventory (I sell parts on ebay).

If I were you I would sell both and get a good buggy but if I were to choose between those two then I would go with the duratrax.

I couldn't get a "good" buggy for twice what I paid for these, and it would be a waste for my use.

Why the duratrax over the ofna?

I'd keep the Ofna if you can get parts for it quickly. For what you're doing you don't need to go out and spend a lot of money to have fun.

Thats my thoughts exactly. Ive never raced, and never even had a 1/8 buggy before (tons of other rcs though) , and just wanted something more suitable for the track than my stadium truck or monster trucks. If I ever decide to do real racing, then I would spend the money for a newer/better buggy.

I am going to keep the ofna for a couple reasons.

1) I like the way it looks better than the duratrax
2) longer wheelbase, and it feels bigger overall even if it isnt by much.
3)Easier parts access (I sell on ebay and have lots of ofna buggy parts including hopups)

I also think I can resell the duratrax for more than the ofna.

Thanks guys.

Duratrax has parts on back order like crazy this year... Can't have fun if you are broken.

One dude who is mostly a 10th scale guy has an Ofna lx1 nitro and lx2 e for play and carefree racing... Things are tanks. Giant duffs in them. He can hold his own against most guys too, though the car becomes a liming factor eventually because of weight and a high centre of gravity.

My driving skills are a much bigger limiting factor than the vehicle I choose
