Default Ceramic bearings - oil before using?

I'm going to get a set of ceramics for my sc. For new bearings, do you install them straight into the car with no prep or do you pop seal, clean, and lube with your oil of choice before installing into the car?

You save yourself the hassle and $100 by not buying them. Unless you plan to clean them after every couple of runs, they will fail much sooner than expected. They don't handle dirt too well, and don't handle high shock loads, like landing a big jump.

If you still plan on getting a set, just install and run.

Thanks for the tip. Is reliability still an issue for driveline use, rather than using in the hubs?

Get some regular bearings and a bottle of this http://www.shopviperrc.com/ProductDe...e-for-gearlube

Open the seal, spray them out with motor spray and lube them up with the dry lube.

Eric, is that what you do? That DryFluid looks amazing, I've never heard of it before.

I went through my entire buggy and used the dry lube on the bearings any moving parts like hinge pins. The front wheels on my 2wd buggy spin for a week now.
