I have a Pro-line pro2 I have built up over the past year.
I have made do with traxxas driveshafts but it's time to upgrade.
The truck has the pro2 gearbox. I need to know what is the best setup. I want a nice long wearing reliable setup that will handle some power (2s). I'm not interested in the heavy duty MIP's, but if there was a steel MIP race duty setup that worked I would consider that. Or the proline driveshafts if they are quality.
The truck see's a lot of track time and is running a castle 1410 right now but might get a Tekin pro2 over the winter.

I have the PL axles in mine (a Pro2 kit) and the Castle 1410 motor. Works fine, no wear issues. The only thing is you have to limit your up travel slightly on the spur side as the axle plunges too deep in the outdrive and will bottom out. I think you have to limit it by 2mm externally. Ask in the Pro2 thread on here (http://www.rctech.net/forum/electric...faqs-info.html) or facebook (Proline Pro2 sc and scb).

Seems a little odd to have to limit travel with kit parts, but you do. I think you especially do if you use the Pro Spec shocks (which I do use).
