Has anyone tried the rc8b3 predator body on the mbx7r eco? I am using pro-line phantom body but it does not clear my 4s lipo very well. And it has cracked over the battery side of the chassis.

Default Universals

Do any universals from other manufacturers fit the car ? I don't want to carry $50 worth of spares if I know I may be able to get another brand at the LHS if something goes wrong . IF I have to I will , just don't want to, The associated car is so similar , it has to be close right ?

some do swap front arms from the mbx7 to the asso

most 1/8 buggies can share universals but you have to be ready to change the hex too ( for example mugen uses 3mm pins and a hobao hyperstar uses 2.5mm pins in the hex )

but do you have to take universals to the track ? you might bend one in a crash but that's not a part I would take to the track

Hi guys,

What servo horns are you all using? I am struggling to find ones which leave enough gap underneath for the mount?!

hi i am new at E buggy. Only drive nitro buggy´s and have some questions.
The only thing i knew is that it will be a Mugen 7R eco

i not know which combo to buy.

1) Hobbywing Xerun XR8, Tekin 1900 or TORO X8S 2150

What the difference of the tekin and the Toro ? not mean the company

2) Tekin Gen 2 ESC and Tekin 1900

3) battery 4 s or 2 x 2s

Thanks

So I have the MBX7 Eco and it's still in good shape. I just ordered the shocks and rear tower from the R to put on mine. What springs are you guys running? I had to order the Nitro shocks from Dollar Hobbyz which I know will have the wrong springs.

We run black 10.25 rears the most and 9.25 fronts.. The kit silver springs work well, some prefer the silvers over the black... Stock 8h pistons
