I think he just upgraded to 16mm and picked Kyosho. What does 1/10 scale and the price have to do with it?

and I used kyosho center rear and front universal drive shafts. Front kinda to long but I shaved it down a few mm and looks to be good fit now. Read rc8b3 front center universal drive shafts fits well

Interesting. How well are they holding up. My Mugen's are are holding up pretty good considering how many pack i have on them. I do want to pick up extra universals all the way around. Really the only thing i don't have, That and a new chassis. She is starting to get a little thin front and rear

I wish they woulda stayed with the x7 cva's because they are cheaper to replace and are rebuildable and f/r were the same

my car was a mbx7. the original ones held up great but it was time to replace them so I chose to go with universals. Ive had kyosho cars before and they hold up great. I just like having universals all the way around like you said.

mugen durability with few fine touches of a kyosho and the car is perfect.

I run kyosho shocks on mine too, and fyi if you use the 7r shafts in the front kyosho shocks it makes them about 3mm longer and allows more droop. The only way I could get to Drake's front droop setting before was unscrew the shock ends. But then I started pulling the ends off of the shafts in a crash. The mugen shafts aren't too long either. They don't hit the bladders at full compression.
