Just got my kit and going over it before I start building it. Recently saw a friend of mine who built one and he unscrewed the top pillow ball so much and just left the washer dangling. I told him this was wrong. After tightening it up I realized how much camber was built into this car. Is all this camber necessary for this car to hook up?

XB8 2014 bittydesign body fits...its a little loose around the mud guards on the front though. (only reason I know is because I bought one for my xray and then sold the car before I painted it)
Not sure if I am going to paint it for a practice body, or just give it to one of the xray guys...I could use the good karma here lately...lol

Anyone else?
Will a body for the regular MBX7 Eco fit? What about the nitro car?
Biggest concern is the battery clearance. The kit body rides/rubs on the battery on the left side and droops on the right (radio/motor) side. Makes the body sit crooked.

I finished mine two weeks ago. I'm coming from an MBX6 that was a little worn out. I've only raced it once so far on a tight indoor track. I was on the kit setup and I was really happy with it. I didn't make any changes during the day since I won't be running on that track much. I just finished painting the body today. I used my X6 body for the race.

need shock schematic to build
hey Mugen people...
i just picked up a disassembled set of Mugen 1/8 mbx7te rear shocks - model MUGE2014.
does anyone have a link to a manual / shock schematic to guide in the build.
fyi: they're (hopefully) a hop-up for my Vaterra Glamis Uno (i'm sorry).
cheers.

I did all the tricks over on the nitro thread to free up the drivetrain, it still feels notchy to me. I removed the boots, shimmed the diffs away and rechecked the hinge pin holder screws. Without unis installed in the diff cups, the drivetrains feeling a lot free.
Could it be the hub bearings are being pinched? Any other suggestions?

My body also hit the top of the 4s 5000 mah battery which caused it to sit on the car cockeyed. It looked ok after a few captains, but sober I didn't like it. I fixed the problem by adding three small teflon washers under the front body post raised up the body mount. All good now.
That's exactly how I feel. Call it OCD or whatever, but the lean bothers me.
I like the lines on the FTW Night Fox body. Just wonder if it'll clear a 5000mah 4S battery.... unlike the kit body.

Just wanted to know whether this is durable enough to bash around and race. I am planning on getting back into RC and am not sure whether to go truggy (mbx7t eco whenever is goes back on sale) or buggy (this one). I know mugen is durable but outside of a race environment i'm not sure. Thanks
