Results on liverc, redrc, proline blog...I'm Stevie's dad, just me being a nasty old man lol... He had bad luck in nitro, was in the bmain from bad qualifying, was in 1st/2nd the whole 12min race, 1min to go and the front center shaft came loose.. That Vegas dirt is weird.. His cars came back white, like cement dust.. I still haven't seen the track

Has anyone tried the CSI shock caps and bladders? If so, what is your opinion?

Went to the 5x1.35 pistons last night. Big improvement in my opinion over the stock 8x1.3 pistons. Running Kyosho grey fronts and Kyosho purple rears.

TQ'd but had some bad luck in the main when I had a shock end blow off. Hey that's racing though 👍

just bought this kit, (first kit ever), I have some questions of what is included

*does it comes with a pinion for the motor?
*If it does, which one?

*any parts that will be good to upgrade right of the bat while assembling the kit?

*does it comes with different set of shock pistons?

*Does it comes with shock oil?

*I'm on a budget and a local club racer, what will be a cheap servo to use?

Thanks.

Yes 14t which will be fine to start but unless you have a high kv motor will need to get a 15-16 to get max speed
I think the parts are all good until you get a feel for the car other than maybe putting 7000 front and center with 4k rear diff oil. Maybe a step stiffer springs if your track has big jumps
One set of 8 hole Pistons
Yes comes with shock oil that works well with stock spring
Depends on your view of budget. I run the associated xps servo I think it's the ds1015 can't remember but it's the hundred dollar one it is very fast at least to me

Any of you guys using clamping servo horns for steering? The plastic inserts seem to strip out on 25t spline.

just received my kit and started assembling
right away ! quality is very good overall. many nice details

some points i noticed :
- I had to drill the arms to have a perfectly free suspension.
- the manual missed some point to thread lock : the 4mm Under the aluminium motor mounts, the steering posts ( up and down ). those are places that will surely fall apart without threadlock !
- I wished that the bevel pinion and the conical ring gear worked softer together. i didn't even put the shims ! perhaps it will get better after a few packs !
- the steering doesn't allow much droop.
