How do you like those blue kyosho springs? How do the rates compare to stock?

I like them, the suspension works great, but with a smc 6500 I have the springs tension all way down. So they seem to soft. When I run 2 shorty 2s 4500 there perfect. RCGOD is using grey front and white or purple rear. I'm thinking of trying those. They are harder than light blue

Careful with the short one for more flex. I snapped off my servo horn and gear with the little one. My chassis was pretty new at the time to but it was hot from nitro stuff.

I know, shocked me too. Only thing I could trace to the cause of breakage. And big lawn dart into face of jump. That was when I was newly back into 8th scale.

Thank you, I did have to raise front body mount 1mm to make a good fit for the 6500. Please look at my front nose. I did have to cut a lot to make work. If your cool with that it's a good body and price.

I'm gonna run with the stock springs for tomorrow but definitely going to look into the grey/white or grey/purple combo since both my 4s packs are 6500maH

Stock springs are equivalent to purple kyosho rear and between white and grey front.

First night with the new car went well. I was amazed at how good the thing was with basically the box stock setup on indoor clay at SDRC. Had some new car blues in the main(bad switch placement on my part) but I'm really loving the car so far.

Coming from driving only TEKNO 1/8 scale products previously the best way I can describe the MUGEN is aggressive yet stable

One thing I did notice that I forgot to mention in my previous post was some up and down play in my steering rack, specifically at the Ackerman plate.

Anyone seen or heard of this issue? Maybe some shims will do the trick
