I am having trouble trying to get my nose down on a landing for a jump. I have too much brake and it flips the car over.
I'm running :
Drag Brake off
Min. Brake 2
Brake Strength 45
Push Control 2
Run drag brake around 8

Default Center diff gets warm

I was wondering if anyone has noticed the temp of their center diff. Mine felt pretty warm, temped at 125ish (F). Initially I thought maybe there might have been something wrong, or diffing out, but then later I figured it's because it's attached to the motor mount so the heat might be getting to it from the motor. In case anyone is wondering, I'm running 5-7-3, I have also run 7-7-3 and both were getting just as warm. F and R were both ambient temperature.

If this is the case, does anyone have comments about the diff oil getting warm and "thinning out"?

Thursday is my day off work so I had plenty of time to work on it today. Definitely took me longer than I anticipated but I wanted to make sure I built it right.
Buggy goes together awesome and it's virtually slop free👍
Coming from a Tekno it feels really heavy but maybe that means more traction haha

My center diff gets really warm at times. In fact, the bottom of my chassis gets really warm. BUT, I really didn't notice a difference from thinning out but im sure it happens to some extent. 7/10/4 or 7/7/4

This buggy has more built in traction and stability then the Tekno does. It doesnt handle the ruff stuff as nice but its a lot easier to drive. I'm very happy i switched over.

Has anymore tried out 8x1.4 pistons? I picked up the Vision Racing Products pistons, the ones with the flappers in them. I grabbed 5x1.3 and 8x1.4 I need a base for the 8 hole. I run indoor and outdoor each week, if you have base for both, that would be awesome.
thanks

Can anyone tell me what's the deal with the two different length front chassis braces?

Shorter brace allows more chassis flex=traction

cool buggy ! thx for posting some pictures !
rc stuff seems expensive sometimes and breaks a lot, but it's the most inexpensive way to run a vehicule on wheels that can jump and compete !
