Is the MBX7R Eco in stock anywhere? Every online shop I know of has it on back order. Does anyone know why it is out of stock everywhere? Is there just that much demand? If that's the case am I going to just have to put in an order and wait for stock?

They should be in stock soon. End of the month is what we are being told

It is divisible, wait late september and buy MBX7R Eco, or wait 2018 and buy the new MBX8 Eco :-)

Hey guys, I'm new here... returing to the hobby after an 8 year break. I raced nitro back in the day but decided to switch to electric this time around. Excited to be back!
I'm building my new MBX7r Eco and thought you guys may be able to help me out. I'm working on step 13 "Rear Upright" assembly. It shows a set screw (SK3x3) going into the hub carrier. There is a note that says, "Keep the SK3x3 from touching the C0601" C0601 is the inner hub carrier bearing.
What function is this little set crew performing? At first I thought it was retaining the inner bearing but the note says not to touch the bearing with the set screw? It has me stumped.

Try running Tekno Low Freq springs. Pink fronts, Red rears. They work amazing

Yeah man, I just built one too. I was so confused on what purpose that set screw served. I had no idea! I raced it 3 times... Last weekend got 2nd in A main. This weekend got 3rd. Its a killer buggy.

shock question
I was recently lied too and was sold what i believe to be the mbx7 instead of the mbx7r eco. The chassis doesnt have F or R holes for the weights and the shock pistons are 5 holes instead of 8 so wondering if i can just add the shock piston with 8 holes or do i need to purchase the full shock kit for the mbx7reco?

but depending on your track, you could keep the 5 holes
