The dyno results from one of the guys on here show the VRP pistons only change the rebound. They had the exact same compression characteristics as the stock.

Exactly. I have these pistons in my 1/10th buggy and now putting them in my 1/8th buggy. They only effect the rebound, all other characteristics are the same as stock other than being a machined piston with my tighter tolerances. VRP even states they only effect the rebound speed (faster) only.

mugen chassis don't bend ; they snap with a loud crack ! but it's my fault, i didn't built in another chassis stiffener after breaking the stock one...

a down ramp would be smooth ! but I 'm not that good ! i need dirt for the moment

that's not a lake , it's the ocean ! its not my home but I can use this space in front of this house. but it might soon be destroyed to redo the wall of stone...

I bashed the pumpkin. I doesn't look that fresh anymore...video is being uploaded, youtube working right now...

by the way , the mbx6 body is mode durable that the mbx7. Probably because the big cab on the mbx7 take all the hits.

I received some Xray Xb8 arms ( http://www.amainhobbies.com/rc-cars-...352117/p276650 )
If like me you think mbx7r arms are weak, you might want to try those
I didn't mount them yet, but it seems like a direct fit ! same size !
I choose those xray arms because their plastic is good. but I didn't buy the xb8 buggy because I wanted to try mugen !

Nice discovery and feedback wernersline... Xray arms have always been a softer material, know to start warping before they break.. kinda like rpm arms

yes, they will probably bend and stretch before breaking.
but notice that xray arms are as thick (around the hingepin ) as the mugen ones. Mugen said those x7r arms are improved ones. Is mugen a bit late compaired to other manufacturers ?
the rest of the mugen holds really well.

the premounted tires speedtreads trigger hold on amazingly well also ! ( but the foam is gone since a long time ! )

my new vid is online :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vi3lCIi4i78

filmed in 120 fps with a better quality. a bit of fun intro and various jumps with my mugen mbx7r eco painted orange. this vid is a kind of teaser as I have lots of footage left. I will post other vids showing one kind of jump in each video.

Any chance of a new car coming out around the worlds? Just curious as I am in the hunt for a new car and see everything is back ordered for the 7Reco.

The space for the bottom shock mount is not the same. That is what changed between the 6 and 7 arms and from the photo it appears different between the mugen and xray arms. You may have to use a different ball in your shock end to make it work.

Still interested to see if anyone thinks a new car or update will come out around the worlds. Wouldn't like to buy a new car and be obsolete within a few months
