One thing some people will say about the silver and black springs is the silver is "better" for indoor and blacks are "better" for outdoor. I have heard this more then once from other mugen drivers. I don't have any black springs but my silver springs work just fine on outdoor and indoor.

I just bought a pair of heavy pivot balls, should they be placed on the top or bottom arm? I've seen pics of them in either location.

Hideeho
The point of the heavy balls is to slow down the wheel movement to get better traction on acceleration. For that purpose I don't think it will matter. For center of gravity, putting them on the bottom should lower it giving less chassis roll. Putting them in the top should raise the cog, giving more chassis roll. It will depend on your setup which will be better. Either way, I expect the difference to be small (think 1/2 step on moving the roll center).

I'm new to Mugen so this might be a dumb question....

What bodies will fit the 7R ??

I have a body for a Kyosho MP9e and it would fit if I cut the nose off.

Just curious what the body options are, either Mugen specific or other that happen to "fit".

Anyone found a good way to break in shock springs before you hit the track?

XB8 2014 bittydesign body fits...its a little loose around the mud guards on the front though. (only reason I know is because I bought one for my xray and then sold the car before I painted it)

Not sure if I am going to paint it for a practice body, or just give it to one of the xray guys...I could use the good karma here lately...lol

Mines on the way. Will see how it handles compared to my MP9e TKI which I did not like much. The nitro is way better of course but wanna try this baby out.
