Interesting website. I may have to check that site out every week or so and see what they add to it.

I didn't run mine, was a busy day off LOL.

Once my new shocks arrive, I'll post about them.

Ahh Northern winters.

I grew up in Philadelphia, so I remember the cold. Snow, etc.

Not a big deal but if you have the free time at some point. Just don't see any pictures of different wheels on the truck.

You know, you're right. Every video, thread or blog post I have seen, shows the truck with the stock wheels/tires.

Most of the time, you see people putting proline, aka or jconcepts wheels/tires on a slash, losi scte, dhk hunter, etc.

I totally agree. People should know what works, and what does not.

Default ESC manual

I found the ESC manual for the truck, it's on Tower's site at the below link:

http://www.towerhobbies.com/manuals/...000_manual.pdf

I'm betting that if you adjust the throttle sensitivity (which I'm betting is punch or current limit) up from 2 to 3 or 4, it will probably help with the acceleration issues.

As far as the nose diving off of jumps, I went through that on my SCT410 over the summer. It was a jump that I didn't need to make with my short bus, since no one else was even trying it...but the 1/8 buggies were doing it without issue, so I felt the need to try...

It was a matter of the rear chassis slapping at the end of the approach from being too soft. I wound up changing to a spring two steps stiffer and changing how I hit that jump. I would try some stiffer springs, oil, or maybe set the ride height a bit higher in the rear.

I saw that in the manual also. I will give it a try.

Anyone else have gearing input? I've got a 17t on the way.
