Cool, thats good to know.
Over here it's illegal to ship fuel, I hope it's not over there. I have just done a search on the net for distributers in NC & the closest is about 2 hours away from my wifes apartment, hope they could ship to me.

Sure, I've just located a hobby store about an hour away from our apartment. It would be worth the travel every couple of weeks for parts aswell as fuel.
Your right, byron ship by the crate....lots of fuel!.....lol.
Thanks for your input guys.

I tend to be in the mind that fuel produced by a kit manufacture is optimised for the engines they use, but this is a very loose statement.

i let the price of fuel determine what is best.

Byron's is as good as any fuel at any price. It just went up $4 a gallon at my local shop but it's still less than O'Donnell. Some shops give a break on a case of 4 gallons. That's what I'll do in the future (go in on 4 with a buddy).

The only thing I would say is that if you are running a traxxas motor I think that the traxxas fuel works well since that is the fuel that they used in the development of the motor.
My opinion on Byron fuel is that it is the best fuel out there. The Byron company is located in Iowa. I know that probably 9 out of 10 on-road racers here in the plains state that is all they use. And the fuel is becoming more and more popular on the off-road track as a lot of the racers that race both have gotten the off-roaders hooked on using it.
One last note that is if your closet hobbyshop carries Mugen fuel it is the same thing. Just a different label on the bottle that is all.

Don't most of these r/c companies buy from the same fuel manufacturer anyway?
